Final design development is currently underway for this exciting waterfront commercial project.

Our Iwi clients required a unique, contemporary building reflective of their culture with next-level street appeal, for their iconic waterfront site. We were happy to oblige.

Consisting of two 150m2 buildings, linked via a covered outdoor deck area, the Western wing houses a café and commercial kitchen, and the opposite end of the building is earmarked for a tourist hub with conference centre facilities.

The exterior of the building combines herringbone cedar cladding with custom-designed decorative metal screening. A detailed tiered landscaping plan is included, and features considered outdoor spaces that balance aesthetics, accessibility and functionality.

To accommodate sea level rises and to ensure faster construction and minimal disruption to the site and the surrounding area, the building modules have been designed for prefabrication and will be built off-site and delivered completed to the CBD location.
