Nestled in the heart of Raglan, a town celebrated for its creative culture and coastal charm, one of our latest projects is a stunning holiday home perched on the brow of a peninsula, with spectacular water views.

The brief was to design a modern retreat that facilitates easy entertaining while taking full advantage of the impressive 270-degree views from all levels of the home. Despite its multi-level structure and height, the house maintains a low profile providing a lean, contemporary aesthetic. The exterior features a blend of aged brick, Western Red Cedar and standing seam iron. Large floor-to-ceiling windows are strategically placed on the Northern elevation to make the most of the sun and capture the stunning vista of the Raglan estuary below.

A standout feature of this home is the large recessed covered deck. This space allows residents and guests to spill out and soak in the views while being protected from the wind. The addition of an outdoor louvre ceiling not only adds architectural appeal but also provides further protection from the elements, ensuring comfort in all weather conditions.
