We really enjoyed working on this cool beach house located in the beautiful Pauanui Waterways. 

With such a stunning backdrop the clients wanted a simplistic functional building shape incorporating traditional weatherboard cladding. 

We thought a varying width and depth vertical cedar boarding would add real contrast to the sharp lines of the weatherboard. 

The slatted kwila canopies also cast a fantastic light throughout the day which performs a functional role equally as much as an aesthetic one.
