Lee Turner (Dip Arch Tech)
Director/Head Architectural Designer
Lee, a qualified architectural designer was born and bred in Cambridge, New Zealand and has over 19 years architectural experience on both residential and commercial building and construction projects in New Zealand and overseas.
He began his career with an architectural design firm in Cambridge, where he developed a passion for residential building design and learned the importance of a client-focused approach.
Following a move to London Lee worked for various high-profile firms such as HOK International, one of the world’s largest architectural firms, and Chapman Taylor a large multi-disciplinary design firm.
Working on small-scale residential building projects through to multi-million-pound commercial schemes, Lee’s experience and completed portfolio of work has been vast and varied.
On his return to New Zealand Lee established Turner Road Architecture, a company that has since earned a reputation for creativity and exceptional attention to detail in all areas of architecture - from residential new homes to large-scale commercial design.
Lee says, “We love designing great buildings and put as much focus on livability and buildability as we do on well- thought out, creative design.”
Lee and his team’s collaborative approach and ability to visualise clients’ home ideals is at the heart of their philosophy and is paramount in ensuring the design process is seamless and enjoyable, and that clients’ aspirations are realised.
